Mondo
Drummers
Saturday May 3rd, 2008 at 8 PM
Enjoy world rhythms from Africa, Cuba and Brazil with Mondo Drummers as they celebrate their fourteenth year under the direction of Fort Worth's Eddie Dunlap. The concert will also feature the improvisations of eighteen drummers ranging from ages 8 - 19 on authentic instruments.
The concert begins at 8 PM with admission at $15.

Home Tour
May 10th & 11th, 2008
Come tour the historic homes of the Fairmount Southside District! The Fort Worth neighborhood contains one of the nation's richest collections of turn of the century housing. All proceeds from the Home Tour help revitalize neighborhood restoration endeavors such as installing period-style streetlights and enhancing area landscaping.
Tours begin Saturday and Sunday at 12 PM and end at 6 PM.

Tap Dance Day

This year marks the 19th Anniversary of National Tap Dance Day. Bring your family and get ready to dance "en plein air" with tap dancers of all ages from around the metroplex to celebrate the multifaceted art form of tap dance as part of our cultural heritage
